About Us Kyle Bigbee, president of Hillcrest Construction, Inc., has been in the construction industry for the past 15 years and is passionate about his field. He founded Hillcrest Construction in 1996 and together with his wife Rebecca, who heads up their design team, creates beautiful, high-end homes, timeless and classic in their appeal. Kyle serves as the general contractor but also brings architectural skills to their custom-built homes, from staking out each building site to creating individualized floor plans that best resonate with the site and home they are building. Kyle’s inspiration comes from the “challenge of creating a house that stands almost as piece of art … I love to see individuality (in a custom home) and to be able to recognize that I helped to create and complete it.” Rebecca’s strong eye for design and her work with color and textures helps fulfill his vision. Hillcrest’s selection in the prestigious 2006 Street of Dreams confirms the growing success of their company and the team they have assembled. Kyle credits Maury Viveros, who owns a framing business, for his mentorship. “I was 16 when I started working for him,” said Kyle. “He taught me a lot of what I know, and use, every day. It was a priceless experience to be taught by someone with such a great work ethic, organization and attention to detail.” Hillcrest gives back to the community by helping raise funds for CARRA (Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance) and providing medical resources for children affected by this condition. Both Kyle and Rebecca are alums of Oregon State University. Kyle also studied construction engineering and management at Arizona State University. They have two children and reside in Clackamas, Oregon. Our Team
